Q. Can you introduce yourself?"Hello! I'm Islom from Uzbekistan.I majored in Computer Engineering in Korea and now work as a backend developer at a startup in Seoul."

Q. What made you want to work in Korea?"At first, I just came to study.But during my internship, the CEO offered me a full-time job.Thatโ€™s when I realized, โ€˜Wow, a company in Korea actually wants to hire a foreigner like me.โ€™"

Q. How did you prepare for interviews?"Instead of focusing on technical questions, I shared my project experience and code portfolio.The Korean part of the interview was hard, but thankfully, some of it was in English."

Q. What's it like working at a Korean startup?"I love the freedom and flat hierarchy.They really listen to developers during meetings, and we go home right after work.But at first, I struggled with the fast pace and tight schedules."

Q. What visa are you on now?"I changed to the E-7 visaย after graduation.My company helped with the paperwork, so the process was pretty smooth."
